Well, for entertainment value, it beats going to the Kingdom Hall...

Is there some common thread here, some ancient universal human tribute in dance to some unseen unknown deity? Spiritual dance ritual permeates most every culture.
The holy ghost dancing really lacks in form and seems rather chaotic. It really doesn't seem like a "fun time", but rather some obligatory attendance and silliness to make the best of such a waste of time.
When I see stuff like this, I realize that there is a need for this kind of "religion" because it corrals the morons and keeps them off the street for a few hours each week.
Here's a tribal dance that looks like a bit more fun. I like to call it "Feet in the Fire" Holy ghost.

I'd like to pipe in on the ridiculousness of this stuff but.... When you don't understand what's going on it's easy to make fun of it. It's much more intelligent and "smart" to take a anti-depressant or drink alcohol to deal with the burden of life, isn't it. Or maybe manipulate your loved ones emotionally and psychically. I'm just saying that we don't know what this stuff is doing for these people. Could be very healthy. Could be manipulative and controlling. Who knows. You have to EXPERIENCE what they are experiencing to really know, no?
