Standing ovations are more or less considered worshipful gestures. In 42 years I have never witnessed a standing ovation except at the end of an International convention, when the visiting delegates stood up and clap for an eternity. I just wanted to get home and thought it was pathetic but sweet.

Sister Tonky knows more about preparing public talks than AGBM.

He doesn't understand what we ask him, because he doesn't know that the public talks are to be prepared from outline which you get from your elders or some MS who has it.

There are 178 different outlines, and every of them has its number (1-178).

Maybe the audience know of his claim to already be on the GB, so were just being respectful of the people they worship. the GB.

Everyone was so happy to see a young man who was only reinstated a couple of years ago give a moving public talk.
