One of the Governing Body members, Schroeder, now deceased, his son Judahben, went to law school, became an attorney. Judahben had been at Bethel and I think went to law school after leaving Bethel. I wonder about his standing now?
Isn't going to Law School a no-no?

Any kind of University education is frowned upon here. I still went though . The way I figured at the time was, if the system was to go on, I needed to be able to provide for myself. My family agreed with me and so off I went and did my 4yrs. I had a hard time in the congregation though. I still went on f/service and all meetings, but quite often I wouldn't get called upon for answers and the like. I also wasn't invited out to parties or get togethers. So I guess I was secretly being shunned.
