I started when I was 3.
I've already taken the three year old canal fishing. He caught a panfish on his first cast with his little closed face baitcaster. Can't beat a live worm on a cricket hook for making it easy.
I like fishing out on the Gulf.

I like fishing out on the Gulf.
Is any body catching anything in the Gulf right now?

I have never seen so many snook at the beach in my life! You wade waist deep and fish nibble at your ankles. You go for a swim and the water jumps around you.
We are fine down here on my part of the Gulf. No oil problems. The spill only affected the Panhandle.

This is one of my faves by Dire Straits. Andy played it for me and told me when he first met me, this was kind of his perception of me: a free spirit. I've gotten that a lot from the guys in my life since high school days. Lol.
