Naw, we've nevered studied that book. I was fresh out of high school when that book came out. It's not a bad book by the way if your looking for a quick primer on different religions. If you can get past the anti-every-religion-not-JW than it comes off kind of like a Complete Idiot's Guide to Religion.
Why didn't we ever study "Mankind's Search For God"?

Argh, what is going on? I know we studied that book! I specifically remember going over questions related to Diocletian (sp?) and other emperors who persecuted the early Christians! Or am I thinking of a different book? Somebody help me, now I'm really losing it!

I just spoke with an Ex Jw ex MS from my old hall. WE STUDIED IT! In the Book Study setting.
NOT ALL JWS bookstudies studied this book. If yours didn't, then you didn't.

Mine is buried in the garage. I just spoke with an ex MS/Pionere/Asst. Book study conductor. Short of calling the elders in the old hall -not doing that- I am satisfied. We were in Seattle at the time and from what he told me, it was a regional thing.

i didn't care at first then got irked and then it got nasty. i think I'm irked by the absolutism of it.."Yes we did...","No we didn't dumbasses...". I should have ignored it. Argueing with idiots stuck in a "box' makes me an idiot arguing with idiots. If this were done as a Muppet sketch it could have been funny.
