I needed to get a picture of my daughter all dressed up in her bridesmaid gown.

She looked lovely - tastefully made up and just radiant.

I stepped across the threshold and felt ... nothing.

I saw some people from back in the day who did not recognize me, or pretended they didn't.

    That was just fine.

Unless my daughter opts for a KH wedding, I'm done for good.

    Thanks to y'all for listening.

kh's seem to have that in common no matter which one you go to, theyre just devoid of anything buildings.

I went to a KH for a funeral a couple of weeks ago.

It's just a plain (and I do mean "plain") building. I felt no spiritual..or otherwise...connection to it at all.

Having been away from it awhile, I was also able to not be anxious or nervous about it as well. I have no fears of stepping in there for an occasion of which I personally choose to attend. The talk was despicable, as can be expected, but confirmed even more how glad I am that I don't have to listen to that shit 3 or 4 times a week.

That's what I was trying to say.

I remember nearly breaking my neck to get through those doors.

Saturday, I nearly broke my foot trying to get out!

    LOL.

    LOL @ Nelly.

I felt nothing, as I stated earlier.

I'm done with that phase of my life.

    Hallelujah!

I couldn't step in one for any reason at present.

Hopefully that feeling will pass, as sometime in the future I will have to attend some family funerals / weddings.

Screw those windowless wastes of building materials.

Since it is confession time, Snowbird, I have to say that I, and children, accompanied my wife to meetings, and the sunday assembly, during our holiday in Martinique, so that she would not feel lonely. I was amused, daughter was bored to death and son was checking girls. In the end, we did get out of the KH safe and sound, so attending as visitors was not such of a big deal, even a good way to take the measure of the distance between current serenity and past inner angry boiling (for me at least). Hope your daughter's wedding was a success, a happy day to remember. I hope, too, that you feel regenerated after this little vacation off JWN.

I wouldn't want to step inside one of those ugly structures. Not only are they full of all sorts of negative energy, but those who regularly attend those structures only want you to stop doing what normal people do and waste all your time doing the deadest work on the planet.
