Good on you Aussie. Hope it works out well for you and your family. Having 3 acres will be great - are you going to do fruit trees/vegies/chooks on it?

the block has 2 acres as an empty paddock that my son is eyeing off for paddock bashing. (aussie slang for crazy driving an old car around the field)
the house acre has fruit trees and a chook run on it. The run needs rebuilding and will soon have chhoks again.
the wife will plant lots of vegies i know.
the most important feature is that it has two really big sheds!

Sounds great Aussie. Take care with the chooks. A friend who lives in rural NSW just recently had all her chickens killed by quolls!
We're on 3/4 acre in QLD but would love more land. 3 acres is a really good size - not too big and quite manageable.
