Baptism isn't about contracts or dedications anyway. It's a symbol of acceptance of Christ and forgiveness of sins, concepts totally alien to Brooklyn.

Agonus, concepts totally alien to Brooklyn, might I add and to billions of others who have different belief systems world wide. Billions do accept the baptism symbol of Christ. What will happen to them?

Nope, but I had an unbaptism. I denounced WTS and declared that they withheld information from me, so my baptism was no longer considered valid. I burned some WT literature. It was very cleansing.

    Everyone should consider it.

    Very good idea, OTWO.

I still remember my baptism date. April 5, 1968. El Centro, California. I was 12 years old

They told me it was the most important day of my life and that I should always remember the date

    And I do

I've been out now for about 18 years, but I've never had an unbaptism

Sounds like a great idea. Thanks

I was baptized at 12, and was put on the Circuit Assembly program the day after my baptism.

Later - disfellowshipped... reinstated... and now disassociated/apostatized.

It doesn't mean squat. Especially when considering it's AGAINST THE LAW TO ENTER INTO A BINDING CONTRACT WITH A PRE-TEEN. And that's how "The Organization" feels about it. You're in a contract with THEM, not a dedication to God only. And if you break the rules, they will administer their own view of justice.

My baptism was void and unenforcable on the day it was done because one of the parties in the contract was no more real than Mickey Mouse.

On this subject, who else read in the "Questions from Readers" from the study only Watchtower of Feb 15th 2010, pg 22. (Mag only as the download edition excluded it) The question was: "Under what circumstances might rebaptism be considered?"

Have a read of it if you can. Not one bible scripture mentioned. but basicity you can get rebaptized again if you were living your life in a way that if you were alreadly baptized you would be DF.....
