Do you realize what you are saying sir?? I know exactly where your going with this and exactly what you mean.
YOU are implying that other xjws have MADE THE DECISION FOR me to leave! While it is true that others experiences, like Ray Franz, were mind numbingly EYE opening, I have to say that Life as a JW was THE MAIN REASON I kept doubting, questioning, and wondering if it was the truth.
WE ARE ALL HERE NOW becuase this board is available. It wasnt available while i was leaving and I didnt DEPEND on anyone for my decision or my faith, but MYSELF. WHILE I WAS A JW. I was NEVER given the choice of what relgion I was going to be my parents made that decision for me. Had I been catholic my Life would certainly have turned out much easier to deal with....
I LED MYSELF to read Crisis of conscience and ISOCF... .Even then, i made excuse after excuse. It was only after i came across the bullshit Faithful n Discreet Slave Class bullshit that i realized that, Everything, when layed out in front of me , I couldnt just sweep under the carpet. As a whole I was FORCED to conclude it was just an American religion. A M E R I C A N , comprende?
I already had a lot of suspicion growing up as a kid JWs were bullshit. I always put it in the back of my mind. Everything i saw over YEARS is what made me come to the decision to investigate FURTHER. NO ONE CAME TO ME AND SAID HEY BUDDY YOU NEED TO READ THIS!....It was a natural thing to do , to QUESTION, TO examine, To ask WHY.Funny, though, I always had to watch what I said , when i questioned!
YOU SIR ARE THE ONE THAT IS DEPENDING ON THE WATCHTOWER SOCIETY , that is ppl, for your faith, THEN equating it with Jehovah.
Since I think im kicking a dead horse by putting my thoughts down , Im going to stop right now because I just realized something.
YOU ARENT MATURE ENOUGH IN MIND TO COME TO THE SAME CONCLUSIONS YET. MAYBE WITH TIME.

Wrong, Chris: I read the same book, saw bad examples, and have seen silly opinions the WTBS has- but that does NOT affect my faith in Jah & Christ- as it sounds like it has YOURS....

1914 , 1975 weren't just simple guesses , they were professed calculable dates of dishonest misinformation
which were set out deliberately by the WTS publishing corporation to attract people's attention.
Lies and corruption have nothing to be with spiritual cleanliness and wisdom, keeping in line with the guidance of biblical scripture.
And you do know what the bible says about false prophets/profits.
Even worse for the WTS./JWS is that they are commercialised $$$ false prophets.
