  I say, we can talk about false prophets later if you want, but the good news of the Kingdom is all I'm talking about right now.

  That is classic JW style, try to derail the conversation and talk about what they want to talk about. Good for you to keep them on one subject.

  I had to tell a couple of elders that when I met with them- a meeting I had initiated BTW. Instead of talking about what I wanted to talk about, they tried to steer the conversation to my spirituality, or lack thereof. I told them that since I initiated the meeting we were going to address only my matter, and if they were that concerned about my spirituality, we could make an appointment to discuss it at a later time.

  I am sure the people on the titanic were sad to be separated from loved ones in lifeboats. The only difference was they knew they were doomed.

  People in the organisation feel that anyone outside must be doomed. It is sad that they are condemned to a life where they are judged by others and may be called upon to make a sacrifice of their health and well being for no good reason.

  It is a pity. I hope you woke them up even a little but I doubt it.

  JW's are trained well to deflect, distract, project, confuse and decieve. Sounds like they learned a thing or two studying about following the Christ.
