If you have religious truth and you really, REALLY believe God is behind you, and that your material is "lifesaving", why would you even WORRY or CARE if it got into the hands of somebody who wanted to use it against you? Wouldn't God back you up if someone challenged you? The WT acts as if God acts only through their lawyers.
Have any of you asked your JW family why they started the kool-aid edition?

Simple. You are to dangle the Showcase Washtowel to make others think the religion is reasonable, but you don't go by it. You go by what's in the Kool-Aid Washtowel, even if it disagrees with the Showcase Washtowel and the Asleep! rags.
