I do it, however, because (1) it is what our Lord has directed me to do, (2) it is what he is recorded to have directed his disciples to do, and (3) it is what HE did.

Really? Every-friggin-sentence or two to everyone he came in contact with? I don't think so. My Bible doesn't read that way, or I would have long ago told Jesus to get lost. [I eventually did as I observed his hypocritical followers and the insane doctrine they preach - but that's another thread eh?]

The other day someone gave me the peace sign. We were both pulling out of parking stalls, facing one another... and there wasn't enough room for either of us to get by. I backed up as far as I could, all the while annoyed and wondering what he expected me to do... but it was enough that we passed each other, and as we did... he offered me the peace sign. It took care of my annoyance completely. Sort of a 'we both messed up here, but lets just wish each other well through it anyway, and no hard feelings.'

A simple thing, but it made me feel good.

    Tammy
