My daughter did a C-section on 9-10 six years ago- a day earlier than they wanted- it will take a generation for 9/11 to quiet down.

Probably depends on where you live. Here in the UK no-one mentioned it to me yesterday and there was a wedding at the local church in the morning.

My sister got married 4 days after 9/11, it's her 9th anniversary on wednesday. I remember on her wedding day, most people there had already forgotten about 9/11

People get married on December 7, despite a sneak attack by the Japanese that day in 1941.

My 22nd wedding anniversary will be 12/22/12 when the Mayan calendar and the world is supposed to end. ...not a joke, it really is...my anniversary that is...not so sure about the end of the world thingy. :)
