I just finished reading the Van Halen Saga. I like them both Van Hagar and VAn Halen.
I think Roth was better by himself, I love the skyscrapper album.
Roth and Vai was better than Roth and VAn Halen.
But that my opinion not the masses.

Be that as it may, you are informed and I was not - till today.
I really want to look beyond what little I already know - a guitar/keyboard duo in the closing credits to a movie.
Seems there's a lot of history here.
Your input, Jag, is appreciated.

Gee, thanks, OUTLAW!
I'm gonna cut that out and hang it on my wall! It's really a great shot of them.
Gratefully,

Grew up on Van Halen & Hagar. I enjoyed em both.
I liked Gary Cherone in Extreme but didn't care for his work with the VH bros.
Van Halen has been my favorite band since I had a raido!!! On their last tour ( with wolfie on bass) I took a yonger brother in my hall to show him what real rock guitarist looks/sounds like. Frankly over the years I started to be very disapointed in eddie. He has not inovated in a loooong time and that was why I respected him so much.. but nonetheless I still crank all their old albums, anything David or Sammy is great!!!
Unchained is their greatest song, IMHO
CoCo,
Don't feel too bad about your inability to jump. Eddie had to have his hip replaced, so his jumping is limited too.

Greetings, and thanks, SweetBaby, Elder, Glenster and JRK, for your input [JRK for the reassurance!].
Your comments are a first-hand education.
With gratitude,
