  One cultural civilization opposing another civilizations religious spiritual beliefs."

  For sure - religion has been one of the biggest reasons for fomenting war that there ever has been. Even looking at the history of Indian tribes in the Americas, there was a lot of warfare that was conducted to wipe the other tribe's religion out. Of course it was tied up in that they needed the approval of the gods to give them what they needed to grow food and survive and they felt if someone had a false god that the gods would punish them by withholding rain and causing natural disasters. But religion has always been under attack.

  When we left last year everyone was on high alert, totally wired because the big A was almost here. You can even smell it someone said. The stock market was in freefall, people were losing their homes and living in tents (well some did). They had stopped the tuesday night book study, so many changes. The brothers must know something, aren't they guided by Holy Spirit.............bloomin 'eck I was getting all panicky just writing about it.

  It's how they keep them in the WT....fear keeps 'em keen.

  Religion being attacked means nothing.

  If they really, really believed that religion coming under attack by governments means that The Great Tribulation™ is about to be unleashed, closely followed by Armageddon™, please explain why the WTS, using its legal muscles (such as they are), is DIRECTLY OPPOSING the Fulfillment of Bible Prophecy™ by filing appeals in the European Court of Human Rights against the government of Russia, France, etc.

  I need to ask this question of JWs.

  I think they'd be very puzzled that their leaders are directly opposing Jehovah's Timetable to Armageddon™. Because wouldn't that make them False Prophets™? Wouldn't that put them in league with The Devil™?

  Religion has solved no pressing problems on the earth. It takes the labor/ideas of people to fix our problems. What passes for religion is the opinions of religionists who claim to know what God wants humans to do or not do.

  I'm with you, Moshe. Religion is all man-made, just like the Bible.
