NathanNatas! You took my song! I love that song. That is like my exJW anthem! I love those lyrics so much. After years of hearing people say "do it Jehovah's way" (and getting nowhere), I so agree with "Frankie" and am finally doing it my way. The best lyric though is "I just wanna live while I'm alive" which is something you cannot do when you're a JW.

Everytime I hear that lyric I think of this old brother who conducted bookstudy when we did the Knowledge book. He would always be several paragraphs behind the schedule for the rest of america. He would tell us, "I'm doing it my way, and my way is Jehovah's way!" Makes me smile whenever I think of that.
