Good parallel, the Watchtower's "bunker mentality" iz not working like it use to.
Many are freeing themselves from the Borg & I believe they are franticly looking for a way to keep the sheep iz their FOOLS PARADISE.

Ray Franz was disfellowshipped in the early 80's. The WT was trying to nail him as he knew too much. Yes, they got him on a wrongful technicality, as he was eating a meal with a disassociated person who was his employer - in fact both Ray and his wife were invited to eat a quick meal in a Wendy's type of a restaurant to mainly discuss business. The Borg showed "extraordinary" love by using this incident to oust him, which was unscriptural to start with...
