I agree that putting breaks makes it easier to read. If you have one long block of text, it makes it too easy to lose your place while reading, and that alone makes it more difficult to read. Which in turn makes it very difficult to get the message contained therein.

I agree LONG paragraphs make it hard for me to comprehend and I always just skip over them.
