Do you consider yourself to be quiet or outgoing?

Quite a few of us "quiet" ones. I often wonder if it was being raised by an overbearing mother or being raised in the bOrg affected my quietness. Mother started it and the bOrg reenforced it.

I too am quiet-partly because of jdub conditioning and partly because of family upbringing
I am better with small groups or talking one on one
loud groups of outgoing ones or parties really scare me

From one of my high school teachers: Shy and introverted, but once you get to know her, an intellectual powerhouse!
I communicate better in writing than I do in words.

Depends on my mood.
I'm usually reserved, quiet...especially in situations where I don't know people. I can be outgoing at times, but by nature I'm a loner. The more I get to know people the more I open up, it's just getting to the point of actually knowing them that takes a while.

What do you write if not words?

That should have read, "than in talking face to face."
Thanks.

I am the 4th of 5 kids. I had to be lively, outgoing, stand on my head and do cartwheels to get my share of attention. I love people, I love conversation and I love my circle of friends. No, I have never been the quiet, calm type. As my brother wisely said about me "Peace and tranquility leave the room when you enter."

Like CHG, I'm really quiet, but do better one on one or in small groups.
