I find it hard to believe black people ride horses LOL.
Misery. I'm black, raised in Michigan- I've been horseback riding. Granted, it was when I lived in Ohio. A big group of us went from my hall. I just recently found out that one of the pioneers in my old hall in OH- a middle aged black woman actually owns a horse. So there you go.
What about hayrides? I'm pretty sure black people didn't think those up. I went, again in OH. There was a bonfire and singing of kingdom melodies- LAME!

I'd like to add to that list that white people here in Michigan don't like to wear coats in the winter. I've seen a lot of white peeps go to the Eastern Market here in Michigan without a coat and have shorts on.

Here in my part of the South where our winters aren't extreme but can be cold and wet, some snow and ice even, I notice people, both black and white going around in shorts, no coats. I don't get it, myself.
The only thing I can figure is that since people go from heated home to heated car to heated office/workplace/retail/restuarant, they figure they're going to be outside in the elements for only a couple of minutes so they don't want to be bothered with all that extra stuff. Having driven some old, unreliable cars in my day, you learn to not do that. Break down on cold snow morning, freeze your ass off waiting for a tow and you'll learn to wear a coat quick enough.
I prefer to dress warm, in layers and peel em off as needed during the day.
