I just can't listen to someone that has been so dishonest... I wouldn't like to watch any of his debates because I don't know what he is twisting and what he is not. It seems like he has declared war on religion, and so all is fair. He doesn't examine religion from a truly scientific standpoint. At least he didn't in "The God Delusion".

I would recommend reading Dawkins' books on science.
Moreover, the lecture series below, 'Growing Up in the Universe' was very interesting, to me.

Regarding 'Faith', I would recommend these. . .
Sam Harris -- "The End of Faith"
http://www.samharris.org/site/book_end_of_faith/
also
John W. Loftus -- "Why I Became an Atheist"

and an essay
Robert G. Ingersoll -- "Why I Am an Agnostic"

I have watched Dawkins in a few debates and most recently in a BBC program on Charles Darwin and evolution but I haven't been so bold as to read God Delusion book. 10 minutes of the film was more than I could stomach.
Dawkins probably doesn't have much to leave the scientific world save his selfish gene theorem and will certainly be far more well known for his anti-God evangelising which seem to be the real thrust of his work.
So, you've read the book. The only thing to do is read the responses.
The Dawkins Delusion?: Atheist Fundamentalism and the Denial of the Divine (Veritas Books)
God is No Delusion: A Refutation of Richard Dawkins
Answering the New Atheism: Dismantling Dawkins' Case Against God
The Devil's Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions
Also the scientific voices for God.
There Is a God: How the World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind
The Hidden Face of God: Science Reveals the Ultimate Truth
The Language of God: A Scientist Presents E...
I read the later book on holiday and can highly recommend it.
Dawkins folly can be summed up in this video.
Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (Part 10 of 10)
Blessings,

brotherdan: Many of us are of the opinion that Relgion, by definition, deals with what can never be measured/observed by Science.

His debate with McGrath is quite good, I suggest you watch it.
LWT, I see there are no books in your list in FAVOUR of religion? LOL !
My I suggest to brotherdan the website you suggest to me:

I meant "Scientific Standpoint" in the way that anything can be examined. He rarely employs any form of scientific method. And when he DOES, he ALWAYS includes his incorrect definition of "faith".
My first venture into understanding atheism has left me with a sick taste in my mouth.

I truly enjoy his books on evolution, biology, etc. They make a very difficult subject seem interesting and within my grasp. But I haven't touched The God Delusion... mostly for the "fundamental atheist preacher" feel to it (thanks for articulating that, Pirata and Undercover).

I forgot about that documentary, Expelled! Thanks, Stephen! I thought it was fantastic. Ben Stein was the best!

Please bear with me. Our culture (and each ex-JW) is saturated with religion and pro-religious thought. So, please note, too, that I did not list any books that were pro-Tooth Fairy.
But, since you've brought it up, why not: The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel.

Each of us must read these items and then personally decide if they are compelling.
PS: If I were God and I had written the Bible, no further books would be necessary. I would speak in a clear, understandable manner.

Any interview from "Expelled" is immediately suspect. Many of the interviewees were misled about the premise of the film and what it was that they were going to be talking about, and the interviews were heavily edited. A terribly dishonest film in most respects.
Edit: Brotherdan, you may want to look a little deeper into that film. There is plenty of infoavailable debunking its claims.
