I think we've all infuriated MadJW! He left the Lady Lee post with his tail between his legs.

I made the CO and a BOE fuming mad. I caused a scene after the meeting- and during the COs visit, when everyone is supposed to be on their best behaviour! We had a STAT elder's meeting with the CO. Years later I can't go to that hall w/out getting some angry looks from those brothers.

Can you tell us some juicy details?

After I severed all ties with the WTS, I showed an elder many of the old WTs that Randy Watters reproduced in his "Thus Saith" book.
He jumped up and denounced them as apostate literature.
I asked him when Watchtower literature stops being the truth and turns into apostate literature.
He walked out on me.

I'm glad I know that they do that, Ding. Now that I know I can preface my discussion on old WT articles with "Can a WT ever be considered apostate?" Then when they say no, they can't claim that I'm showing apostate literature.
I find it FASCINATING the effects that the word "Apostate" has on a JW. It's like calling someone a "Commie" in the 1950's. They either run for cover or want to kill you!

It's really not even juicy ASO. It had to do with my father, I've shared before on the board how he abandoned us. The thing is 20 years later he was "back in the truth" went to a congregation in the same building (double hall) as mine and still ignored me. To the point where he once walked right past me at the hall and did not speak to me. Anyway, there was a family crisis going on involving my sister and her son (his daughter and only grandkid), and I needed his help (he was in a position to help) and I went to his hall because I knew that was the only chance I would have to speak to him. My father usually would not give us his phone number, and if we happened to find out where he lived would not open the door to us.
I went to his meeting, I didn't know ahead of time it was during the COs visit, but whatev'. I approached him after the meeting to try to speak with him. He blew me off and kept on yakking it up with "the friends" shaking hands and smiling. He was always good at that sort of thing. He is outgoing and friendly; just not with his children. So he was walking away and ignoring me, so I just started following him and raising my voice. I'm a loud talker normally, so I was basically shouting. It was just after the meeting ended so everyone was still there. I don't even remember what I said, but I think it was about his behaviour through the years.
So we right then had an elders meeting with the CO included. They all glared at me while I cried and cried. I was really desparate and not one of them did anything to help. Which is why years later I finally wrote HQ and told them about those great "shepards."
