"Jehovah God, who created all things,..."

    Jehovah God didn't create money!

"Reading these divinely provided Bible-study aids..."

But they continually say that the GB is NOT inspired!!!

Divinely provided, but not-inspired, Bible-study aids?

Pretty good send-up...but it did have one major flaw...

You didn't spend the entire article demonzing the Internet and warning everyone the evil consequences of even attempting to communicate on-line, moderated or not.

The author of this article appears to be confused about who Jehovah, the GB and the elders are. He speaks as if they are all the same.

Is this a "Write a Watchtower article" contest entry?

Obviously, some of the comments need a little direction. Why don't we have someone read Matthew 24, verses 45 to 47, see if we can use the Bible to clear things up a little bit? Uh, Brother Codenk?

Bro. Codenk: "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave, who his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Happy is that slave if his master, on arriving, finds him doing so. Truly I tell you, he will appoint him over ALL his belongings." So we see here, uh, that the faithful slave class is providing 'food at the proper time' for us today, food that comes directly from Jehovah, the Great Moderator. Those who choose to find fault with that food soon find themselves outside of the organization. See, that's what good moderation means. When someone tries to uh, create divisions in the uh, congregation, Jehovah steps in, friends. Jehovah steps in. And uh, we see that he uh, he corrects matters in his own due time.

Thank you, Brother Codenk. Any further comments before we move on?

    Brother Shaw?

Brother Shaw: One thing that uh, we also need to be aware of is that um, the Society here is definitely not promoting spending a lot of time on the Internet. Uh, we know that the faithful slave has provided certain resources for download, at jw.org, at watchtower.org, and we can read about our brothers in other countries on um, jw-media.org. But um, we do not really um, want to be spending a lot of time on the Internet apart from that. We've uh, we've heard on the news a lot of things about, you know, Facebook, and craigslist, and a lot of, pornography and adult material there, on the Internet. So we don't want to mistake Jehovah as tolerating or condoning any of that, because as the Great Moderator, we know he would want to uh, filter what we watch and what we read and listen to. I think that's important for us to keep in mind in this context.

Thank you, Brother Shaw. Let's see...any other thoughts?
