People are saying they do not need to be a NGO DPI to access the information, so then why did they join in the first place?

Who are these people and what are their qualifications, Debator?

Would you accept the word of Dana Loytved, the Senior Reference Librarian, who has worked there since 1985?

Grow a pair, and email her yourself, and post her reply here for us. Or save her the bother and just read what she already said in this communication with StinkyPantz

Dana makes it clear that anyone who claims that the WT needed NGO status to get at the contents of the United Nations Library is wrong, so then, why did they join in the first place?

The backward ignorance of a typical JW as they apply reverse logic is astounding at times.

Biblically Paul had no problem using his Roman Citizenship (the UN of his day) and then Rome was about conquering and world domination under Caesar a man seen as a god. According to you he would be a hypocrite by your nit-picking.

Firstly the UN is not a world power as defined by your comparison to the ancient Roman world power ( a Watchtowerism ) it sole purpose is quite

different from an individual country or dominating power, its purpose is to unite countries for the common good of those countries.

Talk about nitpicking how about the WTS. demonetizing JWs from joining the Y.M.C.A ?

    Now thats whats called nitpicking.

What Debater is saying is that it was OK for the WTS. to lie to executive officers of the Department of NGOs

about sharing or supporting the charter of the UN.

Dishonesty sticks up its ugly head again.

Wasn't lying defined in the bible as a sin..........Debater maybe you could help me out on this ?

Outlaw... they didn't need it... but that's thier story, and they are stickin to it!

According to this document which references 2009, the UN still requires the NGO to support and respect its charter. There are further qualifications for this alliance... interesting. So much for the splitting hairs of the huge differences between supporting and sharing/ ideals/principals debate. LOL

    From that article -

If it really were true that some researchers at Bethel really required access to UN documents that were available only at the cost of NGO association (which seems highly unlikely) the question still remains: How could certain senior figures at the Society’s headquarters be so gullible that they innocently affiliate themselves with an organization that they have always recognized as a tool of Satan?

Th e NGOs website (ngo.org) has the following telling comment concerning the network of NGOS stating that the the purpose of their work "is to help promote collaborations between NGOs throughout the world, so that together we can more effectively partner with the United Nations and each other to create a more peaceful, just, equitable and sustainable world for this and future generations."

The end tale of this all is that the WTS got caught with their pants down, so they quickly pulled them back up.

The signing up with the department of NGOs (which is a part of the structural body of the UN ), was a clear case of doctrinal hypocrisy.

It cost them some credibility points and they had to feed some bullshit to the flock to cover themselves with.

Some JWs actual left upon hearing of this association.

What other damaging thing that has to be considered is this situation is going to stay on the inter-net for a long time accumulating even more descenders.

    debator.

    Thank you for your reply.

However..., I'd like to say to you first.
You have not answered to my question at all.
    I said like this.

    "Are you Ms. Reniaa?"

Why don't you answer to this question of mine?Although I do not know the circumstances in overseas, in Japan, multiple pen-names (multiple nicknames) is an act most disliked by people.

If something actually happened you will get racial memories as with the flood spanning countries and oceans, literally many different versions of the same event. You cannot just say one came from the other especially when the People involved had very little contact with each other, if any.

Since the moderator of this forum said my website is SPAM, I do not show the address usually.
But, in such a case, I think that it is needed to show the address of my web page.

That is a matter which I have explained on my website.
That is, it is the "ship" in the Chinese character (Kanji in Japanese).

I have not denied value/worth of the Bible.
I myself am a Christian, IMO.
However, I do not interpret the Bible literally.

People doubted King David was real until a archaeolgy un-earthed a stone naming him.

With regard to the King David, I have not made reference in conversation with you.

Well, a certain people consider that the King David did not exist really.
If he existed really truly, another issue will arise. (For example, 1 Samuel 18:27; 2 Samuel 3:14)
    http://www.watchtower.org/e/bible/1sa/chapter_018.htm#bk27
    http://www.watchtower.org/e/bible/2sa/chapter_003.htm#bk14

Can you explain the meaning of that King David's good conduct?

Scepticism is it's own enemy since you can no longer see the truth in anything.

For me, although I think that you are the very that person. LOL

    I already said like this.
"But, I think that such your ill-bred reply pulls "another question" near further."
    http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/199894/3/Can-we-trust-this-website-About-the-subject-in-which-Jehovahs-Witnesses-were-a-NGO

Are you really an active Jehovah's Witness?
In that ill-bred manner of speaking of yours, in the field service, I think that probably people would not listen to your talk.

First of all, I think that since the society's representatives did not do an ill-bred manner of speaking like you, the United Nations permitted they use the library.
Do you think that they did a manner of speaking always like you to a receptionist of that library?

    Hello Possible-san

You have a strange way of discussing a topic? You call me ill-bred when all I have ever done is politely stick to the topic at hand offering no personal attacks towards you?

I discuss the topics not not issues which are designed to discredit me personally which are simply ad hominen attacks to sidetrack from discussion.

You obviously have strong personal opinions on the bible freely acknowledging that you do not take it literally but I do! For me the bible is provides ample proof of being real accounts of real happenings and archaeology supports this in many instances. I myself have seen various carved stones of the other side of the Battles in the bible described from the enemies viewpoint and even a stone with Pontious Pilots name on it. They get little things like the price for a slave right for the specific time period, methods of brick making right etc. People named in the bible are found to have really existed from kings to servants.

I reiterate the racial flood memories that span the world with peoples (that according to historians never met let alone traded stories) shows me it was a real event.

I feel we have both got to the end of our discussion .

And I politely thank you for your replies despite our disagreement.
