That would be the Elders and the Governing Body. Sure, they claim that it's Christ who leads us all, but the WT$ likes to put itself in Christ's place. Disgusting...

So Christ is her head?

So Christ is her head?
So they claim. Their actions say otherwise IMO. The way they act, it's like they think they're gods unto themselves...

According to the WTS, children -> wife (mother) -> husband (father) -> Elders -> FDS -> Jesus -> Jehovah.

What does it matter?
She is an insignificant woman. She just needs to attend meetings and go on field service. If she can cook, she can invite elders and their families as well as the CO and wife over for meals. She is just a second class citizen who swhould be grateful for mercy show to her by the great Jehovah and his lurvely organisation.
Be thankful biatch for all that the organisation has done for you.

I would say that Christ is her head in the same way he is head over a man in the congregation. I can imagine that elders try to tell her what to do but she doesn't have to listen any more than the men do...and don't.
I was a single jw longer than I have been married. I could go on vacation when and where I wanted, work where I wanted, buy the car I wanted. Now I know the elders can butt in but they have no more authority over a single sister than over a brother. My married friends were told they could not wear makeup, I did and no man told me otherwise...I suppose they could try but I would just say, "Last time I checked I'm not married to you." (Thank goodness)

Officially, Christ is her head, but....
The WT teaches that the FDS speaks for God and Christ, so in practice, the FDS is her head via the Elders etc..
Welcome back, Peter

In the same way then the FDS via the elders is the head of the men of the congregation.
With single, divorced, and widowed women, who were their heads? They had no husbands. Do the elders function as substitute husbands, making decisions for their personal lives in ways they do not for men in the congregation?
*** w51 9/1 p. 543 Questions From Readers ***
If not a congregational meeting, does a husband-and-wife relationship exist for her to show recognition to his headship, if he is present? If yes, then she should have her head covered. She would not show this sign of subjection to another woman’s husband. Nor would a single sister or widow show this sign of subjection to another woman’s husband. Such unmarried sisters have no male head as does a married woman. The only time the single sister would concern herself about a head-covering is when she comes under congregational conditions calling for it.
