So on what grounds were people DF'd for masturbation?
Also, per a CO letter discussed with elders (but not sent to them) from about 10 years ago, you can get Df'ed for masturbating yourself while engaged in "sex talk" with someone else on the telephone.
Although why anyone would volunteer such information to the elders is a bit beyond me....

If one promoted masturbation as acceptable, this would be considered causing divisions, a disfellowshipping offense ... same as oral sex ... the promoting of anything that the organization says is wrong is a disfellowshipping offense ... solo sexual sins or those practiced between a married couple should not be policed, just don't recommend it as acceptable to others
