I am surprised that the Washtowel has gotten away with this as much as they did. They take many science studies out of context, citing "One expert" or "One study" without being specific about which one. As bad as this is, they are expecting people to stake their lives on the validity, not only of that study or source, but that they are taking it in context. Not only are they blatantly violating copyright laws, but they are expecting people to stake their lives on it. Which is usually not what the original person doing or writing up the original report had in mind.
As well as stealing songs. The old Kingdumb Malady book had a ripoff of Vangelis' Chariots of Fire as Kingdumb Malady #42. Nowhere in the book Sing Praises to Jehovah could I find a single word that the song was originally done by Vangelis or that its title was Chariots of Fire. The song was out in 1981 and a big hit during early 1982; the Kingdumb Malady came out with the 1984 songbook.
