I also noticed that the old hall where I went is up for sale. Now, I wonder if it's downsizing or what, since there is no place nearby to build a new hall. Wonder if they're merging with another existing hall.
This will be interesting, or it could be boring as hell. I think I'll start going on a semi-regular basis to check the pulse of the borg in my area. Also, it might be interesting if some at the hall might have anticipated my presence as per this forum.

Well, here goes! Put new batteries in my recorder, dusting off one of my suits not worn in 7 years since JW days, I should fit right in! Oh damn, I still have hair under my lower lip. Not good, not good. I'll stand out like a sore thumb.
The meeting starts at 7:30pm(Ministry school/service meeting) This is gonna be weird! After work, I'll have dinner, gather up a bible(King James edition) and cruise to the meeting. I have no song book, so I'll just respectfully stand and listen to the shitty music.
Can't wait for some spiritual refreshment! Or, maybe they'll kick me out on my ass. We'll see.

i love the spookiness involved with going to a hall after so long. and the excitement about catching some damning words on tape. take it from someone who still goes enough, there will be nothing remotely interesting enough to be worth recording, converting and posting. trust me. but have fun anyways TR!
