Thanks. What criticisms can the average American dub expect to hear from the platform in the coming weeks? "Worldly holidays are a snare of satan, it's all commercial, people don't really care for one another on such a holiday, they don't even know the name of the God they are thanking"?

Maybe we should name a holiday "Armageddon Day."
That's something the WTS could celebrate.
Maybe we should name a holiday "Armageddon Day."
Every year the GB would predict on what day this holiday would fall, only to get it wrong, afterwards deny any knowledge of the announcement and then blame the R&F for misapplying scripture.

Ah! To win the approval of the JWs, thanksgiving must be directed at theirgod, not just any old god. Even then it will be impossible to please their god without guidance from Zions Watchtower.
Jehovah is a jealous god and frowns upon attempts to reach him without going through the proper Chanel of communication, which we all know is the Watchtower society.
The only "holiday" the witlesses observe is the lame excuse of a "celebration" where they gather together at the Kingdumb Hell that evening, listen to a boring 45 minute talk, pass a plate of stale crackers and a glass of spoiled grape juice without anyone taking any, give a hounding session for those not usually there, and then try to leave at the same time. I call that lame excuse of a "holiday" their REJECT Jesus Party.

Jehovah`s Witness`s can Eat Turkey all year long!..
Outlaw, you have described perfectly our Thanksgiving Dinners once my parents became baptized JWs.
Christmas was a little different... it became "Merry Gift Exchange!"
