Here in Brazil, something new is happening. Ex-members denounce the Jehovah's Witnesses of religious discrimination. The brazilian Sebastião Ramos (ex-JW) is the responsible for complaint. The brazilian court had rejected the accusations, but the protests continued:

This is happening in the Northeast of Brazil, in Fortaleza, Ceará. The issue has gained wide repercution among the townspeople. Jehovah's Witnesses explain their doctrines with difficulties from door-to-door. They are saying they can talk with disfellowshipped, they do not just talk about spiritual matters. They're lying to people!
The Brazilian apostasy begins to gain strength!

Thank you, for the news. Brazil is the south american country w the most jws, i believe. So, this is fairly important. Brazil is also the largest economy in south america.

its unfortunate that the court declined the lawsuit, a small victory agains the WT shunning policy would have had a big impact in other parts of the world.

I think there is about 500,000 witness in brazil.
