A JW told me a while back as i was leaving - "You will never find friends in the world that are like those in the organiation".
I smiled to myself and thought "God, i hope not".

I love my new friends.... Sometimes I think about all the JW I made myself be friends with just because they were JW? I don't think we had anything else in common and some were just not good people

MENTALLY FREE- The thing I've found out about getting non-witness friends these last 7 years I've been out of the witnesses is that they accep you unconditionally with no judgments. To me- THAT is the most refreshing part of enjoying non-witness friendships
