cyberjesus, have you read Combatting Cult Mind Control?

You wouldn't be confused if you read it.

It is somewhat ironic that Hassan is involved with a religion when he himself pontificates that most religions are mind controlling institutions.

I guess people just need some sort of cultural identification, even if it does come from an ancient religious culture.

Hey if your going to be in a tribe you might as well be in god's chosen tribe.

JWS feel this same sort of speciality too.

    I read releasing the bonds.

However I think that RELIGION is destructive in general. Interesting is that his books helped me see how a religious belief obscures ones mind. Anything that is a detriment to the full use of your mental abilities is a diservice for the human race.

Leaving: Dont take me wrong the reason I ask is because I inferred that the statement :

"Religious groups are merely one type of destructive group that he writes about."

Doesnt specify the criteria of the destructive religious groups rather an element of destructive groups.

    Thats all.

However the question remains, he is part of a religion "judaism" and he is associated with a temple. Is that to make a point or is it that he truly believes in that religous group? You see the point?

    This is not Hassan's view.

he himself pontificates that most religions are mind controlling institutions.

    That is absolutely 100% untrue.

Releasing the Bonds and Combatting Cult Mind Control are two very different books, IMO.

CCMC explains A LOT more about dangerous cults, what makes them dangerous, and why they operate that way.

RtB is mostly about a specific method to counteract cult mind control.

OK I'll come clean, I've never read either of his books, I've just read quotes from his books here in this forum.

His own beliefs might not be deeply rooted into Orthodox Judaism one then can assume.

I'm a little surprised though that he's involved with any religion quite frankly.

I would laugh if he became the leader of a cult.

    ....then I would cry.
