A knife is THE essential tool, especially in the kitchen. I could not prepare food without a good knife. It is also an important symbol and tool in some religious celebrations and ceremonies.

Thanks. I have a couple of sets of Whitetail antlers that are gonna be knife bits pretty soon. You can find a bunch of good quality carbon and tool steel around a railyard.

Here's a small fixed blade that I just finished grinding and handling. It's a Moore Maker blank that I picked up at House of Blades in Fort Worth. The scales are maple with red spacers. Sheath comes next.
