I got this book by Robert Jay Lifton from the library. It is the only copy registered to the library.

I hate it when people write in or underline in library books. But worse still someone tore a page out!

I am looking for the text that is on page 469 and the reverse side page 470.

A scan will do but so will the text of those two pages

Can you call another library and have them scan it for you? Explain to them it is hard for you to get out maybe?

I am going to the bookstore this week and wonder if they would have it..if so maybe I could scan it for you..I will write down the info..I wonder if Barnes and Noble would have it, I will check.

First edition is what I have. I have found that the universities here both have copies of it so I will try an interlibrary loan to see if I can get it. It seems silly to go to all this trouble for 2 pages. Seems they won't just photocpy the pages and send them to me. I will contact both universites tomorrow and see if I can get a copy of the book.

Unless there is someone here that has it. Randy says he might have it too but his copy is in storage. gasp

I still can't believe someone would tear a page out. That makes me want to see what if on those two pages even more

He is talking about the difference between Thought Reform and Open change where a person is allowed the freedon to grow without hinderance. it's the 3rd and 4th last of pages before the Notes - so the summary of the whole book
