Awww that's so cool! Yeah I remember celebrating my birthday for the first time! It was last year and the same thing happened to me. People at work got word about my birthday and never having one but wanting to celebrate it and they got me a cake too! :) I was kinda nervious but excited and happy.

Two years ago my job took me out for my birthday (as we do each year for everyone's birthday). My boss remembered me telling him once on conversation that I had never been sung "Happy Birthday". So, all of a sudden the restaurant staff came out singing. I loved it. It took 33 years..LOL

Same here doublelife, it was my 57th birthday on Tuesday. Not celebrated for 50 years.

Didn't DO anything really, but for the first time ever I took some lovely chocolate cakes to work. It felt a bit weird but I enjoyed the extra attention!

Not having to defend the ridiculous WT birthday dogma was such a relief.

Well hey, happy birthday coming up. If we remember, we'll say it again on the 28th.

My dad and his wife have sent me a gift on my birthday for two years running now. It was so awesome, the gift could have been a box of rocks and I would have loved it the first time.

This past birthday, they sang the song and had cake at work.
