How did I find him?
I'm not sure how to answer that question. I just love Him and exercise faith in Him. Both of these bring peace and strength and love into my life. I don't belong to any church or organization, if that's what you would like to know. I belong only to Him. I did pray to God to lead me where I should be, and then I did TRULY cast my worries onto Him. (this was just after JW's, after searching exhaustedly to find the next place that might have the truth - when of course all along, Christ was and is that truth. Not another place)
(I suppose that might make me a lone ranger, as Leaving listed above - but how long can a person call themselves a lone ranger, when there seem to be so many lone rangers out there?)

You are in the right place. That is - this forum is mostly frequented by those of Western Christian oriented cultural backgrounds. Had you wanted to know how some Hindu found enlightenment or How somebody else follows Buddha - you would probably be best visiting a forum with more people from those cultures.
What's interesting is that the same answers you get to your question about Christianity would be basically the same answers you would get if you were asking about enlightment in India or Islam in Arab nations. And just like the discussions of Christianity will branch out into who's version is right, and what's the right pronunciation of the LORD and so on..., so too would discussions of the right version of Islam or any other religion proceed in the same manner.
Anyway best wishes on your path to discovery. The above are just some of the points I like to keep in mind when chatting with the multiple brands of Christians you'll find here.
