Thanks everyone! And, yes, Baba, it was the most terrifying experience of my life! He was in full arrest when I found him in the bathroom floor. We have a boarder who started CPR, but it wasn't working. Police officers showed up and took over the CPR and then used the shock box. Then the rescue squad took over. His diagnosis is congestive heart failure. It may take awhile, but with medication he may make a full recovery or at least have a chronic but treatable condition.
I'm too tired and shell shocked to say much else except I'm so grateful to our boarder Jose, the emergency services in Newton Falls, our kids, our friends here at home and the many I've met on FaceBook, JWN, JWS, ad YouTube.
I'm taking my laptop to the hospital with me this week, so I'll have a chance to catch up on my reading, and I'll post pdates as they happen.

Our asshole step father has lived with that particular heart condition for almost 15 years, but he's probably just too stupid to die. I'm sure Danny will be back to his old wise ass self soon. You know you can call me or Lisa at any time, you should ask for Lisa though, she is the one with the medical knowledge.

May JAH bless and keep you, dear JB (the greatest of love and peace to you!)... your husband... and your household (i.e., kids... and dear Jose).
Your servant and a slave of Christ,

What a scare for you, Jamie! I'm glad they were able to help him and that things are under control. Don't forget to take care of yourself, so you can care for him too.
