  Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people were once again subject to the whims of homophobia and religious and cultural extremism this week, thanks to a United Nations vote that removed “sexual orientation” from a resolution that protects people from arbitrary executions. In other words, the UN General Assembly this week voted to allow LGBT people to be executed without cause.

  The world is apparently so full religious nutjobs who think arbitrary execution of gays and lesbians is such a valueable thing, that a resolution to ban it cant get passed in the UN.

  Meanwhile, stating the obvious fact that a pedophile who bang a 9 years old is still a pedophile no matter how many flying animals he claim to use, and even more insulting, questioning such a person as the ultimate moral authority, IS something the same good people in the general assembly (and their lackeys) CAN get worked all up about.

  Slap the label of "God said so" - despite his inivisibility and silence - justifies everything.

  At least you can sue for slander, libel, defamation on the basis of what is true. Claim God says it and suddenly it's *all* true, and above the law.

  I hope people boycott tourism and implement trade embargos and stiff tariffs against some of the more surprising countries who supported the resolution as well as the ones who "abstained" - perhaps because they felt bullied or threatened into doing so.
