Example: Sept 1, 2010 WT, public edition States on page 13 :

" You have nothing to fear in examining your religious beliefs" they also state on this page: "Yes, even though a certain religious teaching seems to be inspired-or to come from God- it is still the course of wisdom to examine the scriptures to make sure before accepting it as true_ John 8:31,32."

In the Sept 15, 2010 WT, study edition for Witnesses only on page 13 paragraph 8 states: "This spiritual food is based on Gods word. Thus, what is taught is not from men but from Jehovah."

Does this mean you can now examine the GB ? NO

Does this mean you can make sure of all things before you accept what they teach as true in the Organization ? NO

Is this being deceitful to the public ? Yes

The WT flip flops back and forth- to it's advantage. They tell the JW's to totally shun ex-JW family, then a few years later they tell them it's OK to have non-religious, non-spirtual ties, then a 5 years later they are back to their hard-ass no contact prohibitions. Now, when they meet a householder who said he heard that JWs shun famlily who have left the KH, what do they do? Why they cherry pick the WT article that said they can have contact with family- See, the opposers are not telling you the truth about JWs" Naturally, the householder never suspects they have been set up.

When they implemented two different publications of the Watchtower

one for the JW's and one for the public, that was most definitley a set up for the unsuspecting householder

contemplated by that nickel slick crew called the Governing Body. The spirit that's directing them is mighty sneaky ain't it.

WASBLIND- Good thread . The technique the WT society uses on rank & file JW's to keep them from questioning ANY information they put out is by saying " It's from Jehovah. " By doing that they instill FEAR into JW members to NEVER even THINK of questioning the WT society. To do so would be grounds for alleged " unfaithfulness ". It's a con game and a ploy the WT society uses to control members
