I just found out during the elders school sisters are not allowed in the KH for any reason.
I have a girlfriend that I became really close to when I was at Bethel. We really were as close as real sisters, in fact I am still closer to her then my own flesh and blood JW sister but with my leaving the JW's it has been hard, she does not have a clue about my true feelings of this cult, I have tried to throw points out to her and she will not get them, she will not let her mind go there.
She is a supper strong JW she lives on the east coast and I on the west coast so we do not see each other that often. I did see her late in the summer of this year and really have not spoken to her much since coming home. I just finally talked to her a couple of days ago.
OK so her husband is an elder and they live right next to the KH. The elders school was going on right when I was talking to her. She had, had her niece's over to make cookies for the school. So I asked her if I should hang up so she could help service them during the coffee break.
She was totally taken back by my asking and said Sisters cannot be in the KH at ALL while the school is going on! OMG I did not know what to say at first but then tried to recover and say oh yeh I do not know what I was thinking.
How can ones like her not see that this is a cult. I just do not get it.
