Active JWs are required to view "current" beliefs as "The Truth".
It's one thing to take something at face value and believe it. It's another to investigate the belief and staunchly defend it to a pack of strangers that oppose it.

He's not here to empathize, he's here to provide a rebuttal to the whole forum. He treats us here like Jesus treated the pharisees, of which I would guess is the catagory he places us in.
Which, if true, is quite funny sense the WT embodies the teachings and methodologies of the Phasrisees more than any other "christian" denomination.

I think we should erect a statue of DJ in the Irony Hall of Honors.

I like djeggnog because he is not afraid/unable to read/debate opposing points of view. Sure, he's a JW, but he is one with wide eyes open and awareness of the facts, so all the power to him.
He's also the only one who pointed out some faulty logic I used when analyzing an article. Debate can help to strengthen logical reasoning.

Typical JW tactics.
Like my father, he has never 'won' an argument, as all he has ever done is changed the subject to something he is more comfortable with.
It's easy to do. Allways ignor the real issue brought up by the questioner and speak volumes about a closely related topic of your own choice.
It's a tactic that fools a lot of people into thinking they are debating a topic when they really don't have any intention of doing any such thing.

That is why these types are valuable here.
When discussing WT with a Dub family member, you have to know your stuff. Make a mistake and they pounce on it and use it as an excuse to attack your character and your sources, and then discount everything else you want to say from that point on.
It is far better to make your mistakes with some faceless Watchtower goon on the interweb, than to make them with a loved one.

I think DJEggnog would be the perfect name for a rap artist... a cute little elf rapping holiday classics.
