Here's a Discovery mag article tempering the speculative rumors that they're announcing having found extraterresterial life. More likely it wil be they discovered positive conditions for life.

My guess is they'll reveal the entire cast of Jersey Shore are in fact extraterrestrials.

Could it be, in these downsizing times, that they feel the need to demonstrate the usefulness of nasa's existence?

Are they going to tell us whether or not Neil Armstrong walked on the moon?

Or, maybe it is just an attempt to "reach out to the Muslim world"?

The NASA outreach is showing early signs of success.

    Pre leak on tommorrow's announcement!

NASA to unveil non-alien, arsenic-loving bacteria tomorrow

Nasa scientists are set to announce that bacteria have been discovered that can survive in arsenic, an element previously thought too toxic to support life, it can be revealed.

In a press conference scheduled for tomorrow evening, researchers will unveil the discovery of the incredible microbe – which substitutes arsenic for phosphorus to sustain its growth – in a lake in California.

    Two questions/comments:

#1 Did Jehovah create bacteria for that specific lake (which as far as we know are unique in the whole world), or did it evolve there?

#2 It seems ironic that Californian bacteria are the ones that have had to adapt to toxic circumstances.
