    From the gilead graduation.........

one graduate read a touching letter of appreciation from the class. In part, it

stated to the Governing Body: “As a class, we have observed firsthand how you have lovingly

and tirelessly given of yourselves, providing the curriculum, visiting the class,

and giving us fine spiritual instruction. Because of being recipients of your love, we

will do our utmost to imitate your fine examples of love, patience, humility, and personal

interest when we arrive in our assignments.”

Very humble of them to publish such a statement.

    Yes very nice of them.

I notice too, that it states

    '' average age 33''

    average years since baptism 17.9''

They could have said instead that the average age that they got baptised was 15. That's quite young isn't it.

we have observed how "tirelessly" they have covered over numerous failed prophecies and false doctrine , covered over a world wide paedophile scandal, sent our own brothers to endure unspeakable persecution, presided over a murderous doctrine of forbidding life saving medical aid that has seen hundreds of thousands of children and babies die, seen membership of The United Nations the Great Harlot who rides on The Wild Beast exposed while for over 10 years it was kept a secret and for decades covered up as 2 of our very own filthy homosexual brethren abused and sodomized in the very house of Jeehovah. The examples of "love ,patience, humility and personal interest are qualities exactly the opposite of what you display,"arrogance, haughtiness, being puffed up with pride, ignorance, prejudice,"are the qualities that you possess.

Of course the Gilead graduating class is going to praise the Governing Body.

The Governing Body is the apex of The Watchotwer Organization!

That the Gilead graduates would write such a letter doesn't surprise me - that they clearly were quite star struck is evident from the extract which is painfully ingratiating. However , if someone was to write you such a letter & you then published it in a public magazine with millions of copies to show people just how "humble" you are strikes me as arrogance of the highest level.

They published it to show us "an example worthy of imitation" - how appropriate it would be for us to express such sentiments ourselves!

Shame on you all. The Governing Body have a burden of their own, which Mac Davis sang about:

Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
when you're perfect in every way.
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
but I'm doing the best that I can.

EVERY issue of the WT contains statements exalting the GB or at least the "FDS organization," which is really the GB anyway.

nothing new. The GB has published such self-serving comments in the past.

When I graduated MTS (Ministerial Training School.... aka Gilead Lite) back in 2002, I was part of writing such rubbish letters to the Governing Body, Writing, Teaching Committees, et. al. on behalf of our class. I also remember helping with the same type of letter when I "graduated" pioneer school in the dark ages. All we did was take suggestions from the class and recompile them into some sort of readable praise of the GB, et. al.

I shudder when I think about it now. Glad I am out.
