WHY didn't I do this long before. One tangled wire eliminated from the tangled wire jungle.
Jeff
we have a wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard. we like it...alot.
Once you've had a wireless mouse you'll never go back. We've had them on our laptops for a year or so. Neither of us like the finger board or the ball method.
I had to ditch mine two weeks ago. It was frustratingly slow and lagged too much to be useful; the wired mouse works like a champ.
It might be good that you waited. They have improved over the years. The first one I had took two batteries instead of one and went through them like crazy. The one I have now works better and the batteries last a lot longer.
I also hate the fingerboard on my laptop. I just can't use it effectively.
I have one with my laptop, the computer I use the most. Slowly Jeff, we move into the 21st century. I don't have internet on my cell phone, just phone and text and hate to text. I use WiFi all the time, however with that laptop. I just bought a flatscreen television a few months ago when my old heavy Sony broke. I still don't have a flatscreen monitor for the home computer. Still don't have remote start for the automobile, I think in 2011 I will get that for the wife for the cold winters. I have no idea how to download music into an iPod, never had one. I use a portable GPS for a couple of years now and wish I bought it sooner.
I have had a wireless mouse for a couple of years and just love it.
I've been using both a wireless keyboard and mouse for 6 + years would never return to wired peripherals.
My keyboard for example is very light weight that comfortably rests on my lap which allows me to lean back with my feet up
and type in total comfort.
Typically wireless mice usually have a very slight delay which is the reason why avid gamers stick to wired versions.
I'm still not sure about the use of a wireless mouse. I guess it's considered a conscience matter at this point.
Perhaps there will be a QFR article on it in the not-too-distant future.
