Is this guy really happy?

I drew this image some years back. Maybe you have some ideas what this guy is trying to say?

No,this man is not truly happy.
It's just an act.

You can't see the invisible string that is tied to the corners of this mans mouth which cause him to have a fake smile.

I believe that you had already started to walk through that forbiddon door when you drew this.
You were starting to see the way things really are.

This is an excellent illustration and I hope you share more.

Yes I walked through that forbidden door Des.1989. At first it was scary to cut off the ropes. A month or so later, I really understood what it means to be free

Great stuff, Åge. I remember your excellent drawings very well. As you remember, we used some of them in the Norwegian/Danish "InForum", the exJW support group magazine.

I actually had three of them stored on my hard disk. I guess you will not mind me posting them here for everybody's benefit!
