Do any doctors still believe the theory that many ulcers are caused by a bacterial infection, rather than an excess of stomach acid?
My doctor does.
I'm on some powerful antibiotics.
I feel much better.

Right - I read an article on this a few years back and it indicated that the old ideas about drinking milk or taking anti-acids were almost always worthless for this condition.
Seems like a lot of doctors were slow to accept the bacterial infection ideas.
