Can't fault Witnesses for their level of dedication.

Can't doubt the dedication of most Witnesses.

Attending 5 meetings a week; doing 10 hours of fieldservice (door-to-door) each month; working hard for the reward of eternal life on paradise earth; willingness to shun their best friends and family members if these individuals are disfellowshipped from the organization; denying their young children blood transfusions even if it might save their lives; deciding not do any independant thinking apart from their religion; willingness to change their beliefs every time their anointed leaders change their minds on doctrinal matters....the list goes on and on.

Yes, it's amazing what people without the indwelling Holy Spirit will dedicate themselves to do.

I'm thoroughly convinced that they are the ones "blinded by satan" so that the light can't shine through. They are the most closed minded people I have ever met. Show em black on white that they're wrong and they will hypocritically change the subject or just dismiss you as an apostate. Its like a madman who swears that everyone is out to get him...only problem is its only in his head.

IMHO, it has nothing to do with Holy Spirit. Many high-control group are non-religious and members will do whatever the leadership tells them to do.

Doing their best to earn what cannot be earned and is given freely. They are definitely dedicated. So are Islamic terrorists.

I used to work with Muslims (very nice people BTW)....They would go to the Mosque and pray , sometimes more than once a day. They would follow the rules and abstain from things. During Ramadan they went hungry all day.

I could not fault their dedication either , but was it really what God wanted?

Dedicated 45 yrs of my life to this burden of a manmade religion and finally realized that if we had the indwelling of H S....we wouldn't be doing all this. It is not dedication .... it is Brain Washing and Delusion. Which btw, accounts for all the 'uneasy & depressing' feelings that kept surfacing no matter how much effort was put in or how Big the smile pasted on our tired faces!

Think About It

I do fault the JW's for their dedication to the GB of the WTS organization. The two meetings a week is no problem, because most religions do that, but the mandatory FS hours in order to impress others & determine your standing in the org. is too much. The dedication to the blood doctrine belief and no indepentant thought helps push the religion into cult status.
