Danger JWs, your KH is falling apart in front of your eyes!

  It seems to me that the KH's in many areas have lost the critical mass they need to stay healthy and to expand. Loss of their youth and loss of Ministerial servants makes it obvious that these KHs are doomed. Maybe not this year, but before this decade is out we will see many closings and subsequent mergers of KH's to the point that it is obvious to JWs that they have become a has-been religion. The increasing ages of the elders makes it harder and harder to maintain control over the JWs and cutting out the bookstudy was the first band aid the GB has used to shore up the loss of elders. So far, the GB has been able to disguise the imminent collapse of the present day KH/JW/elder arrangement. What will be the next problem that moves the meter up another notch towards imminent collapse of the WT religion?

  Does the GB have anymore tricks they can use buy some more time?

  Oh, I believe they are just morphing like in 1975. They'll pull through, and continue to ruin more lives.

  There might have to be a return to the old system of three overseers...a congregation servant, an assistant and a school overseer...that should stem some of the hemorrhaging of manpower and centralize control.

  Yes, OutLaw the Internet has already snatched almost an entire generation of JW youth out of the clutches of the WT org.

  JWs who drop by here might not read very much of the topics, but they sure will remember the JWN cartoon parody of the WT org and the GB that we members post here everyday.

  My old hall had 125 for the sunday boasting but now 2 years later they only get 70/80 for the same meeting! The fall is coming in the UK as my other ex jw mates in the UK are reporting the rot from within

  HHG, that is a big drop in numbers- no wonder the finances of the WT org seem to be in trouble. if we could only see the hrad numbers in accounting, we could print out a graph that shows when they won't have enough money to pay bills.

  Kicking out all the older Bethelites, selling WT property and closing branches could be a sign the WT org is short of money.

  That KH I visited on Thanksgiving day was going to soon have FIVE congs meeting in one building!- I guess they can't borrow any money from the WT to build a new KH.

  Another thing I noticed was the stacks of public edition magazines on the counter- here JWs, takem' if you want them, but nobody is keeping track of it anymore and if you don't want them,-OK then = I can stop pretending to place literature and nobody in the KH will know I am a slacker. In the old days, there was a big line at the literature counter before and after meetings to get your mags and books- shoot, they were anxious for me to hand them out and my or my, didn't the sisters make a big show in front of everyone in the line, of telling me they needed to increase their order by another 10 magazines a week.
