If he was trying, he wasn't doing a very good job. Sure, I got into some 'trouble' here and there, but nothing to really hook me for good.
I was always taught to believe that Satan knows us better than we know ourselves and that he has had thousands of years to be crafty and sneaky.
Either he's isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, or he doesn't give a shit about trying to 'tempt' us.
