They floated the idea of it being a loud sound that might have killed the birds and I think that could be it only because I have a little experience...
When I was a kid my friend and I yelled 'boo!' at a birdcage full of little finches and like 5 of them fell over dead, just like that.
Man, we felt terrible...It was awful. Poor birds. We didn't mean to kill them...
I wonder why an ornithologist wasn't asked to comment, as they would have a greater understanding of (unusual) bird behaviour. Certainly many birds die in migration. The same with fish.

All seriousness set aside, HAARP was the first thing I thought of when I heard about this stuff happening.
Europe and N America are in the middle of its coldest winter in 100 years.
Food will be scarce for birds. They are probabably dropping dead of exhaustion and hunger.
If the fish were caught in ice without adequate stored energy then when the thaw came they can only survive so long too. If the big freeze went on too long, there would be people falling dead in their tracks like in the Leningrad siege.

Well, we all know that the WTS and most of the uneducated JW's fall in this category. GB wants to keep the dubs dumbed down as much as possible to play off the conspiracies out there.
